Clean Solar Solutions have completed the cleaning of 367 roof mounted solar panels on Currys PC in Coventry. We were contracted to do so by Syzygy Consulting who, when their solar engineer carried out a service of the array, noticed the heavy traffic film soiling along the bottom edge of the solar panels.This soiling will reduce the output of the array considerably, so cleaning the solar panels was advisable. A 50KW system is laid on a flat roof and this system had begun to have lichen grow on the solar panels. Lichen grows when detritus and algae is allowed to accumulate over a period of time, creating a nitrogen-rich base.
